Artistic education will be integrated into the general education system. Parliament gave a first reading to relevant amendments to the Education Code, IPN reports.
The bill introduces two distinct categories of artistic education: specialized academic artistic education and complementary academic artistic education.
Bodies will be created at the Ministry of Education and Research for the management of educational processes specific to artistic education and also for efficient inter-institutional communication, including the academic community, in the working out of the regulations and methodology in the field.
The draft law is to be given a final reading by Parliament.
