Doina Nistor was proposed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean for the position of Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization. The announcement was made on Thursday evening, and the swearing-in ceremony is to take place on Friday morning at the Presidential Palace, IPN reports.
Premier Recean said that Doina Nistor has over 20 years of experience in economic development and digital transformation in the Republic of Moldova. She managed major projects in key sectors, such as information and communication technologies, tourism, winemaking, light industry, engineering, cybersecurity and creative industries.
The minister-designate is to take the oath of office on Friday, at 09:00 a.m., in the presence of President of Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
