Construction works that produce noise will be prohibited in residential blocks on Sundays and nonworking holidays and also on Mondays to Saturdays between 08:00 a.m. and 08.00 p.m. Fines for the violation of these provisions will be up to 1,500 lei for individuals and up to 4,500 lei for legal entities. A draft law to amend the law on housing was given a final reading by Parliament, IPN reports.
At the same time, during the reconstruction of rooms, it will be forbidden to modify the natural gas supply systems by installing gas-consuming equipment in rooms other than the kitchen or heat production halls.
It will also be forbidden to carry out thermal insulation and façade color change works in the absence of a building permit for works on the facades of buildings facing boulevards and streets, on buildings with monument status, on constructions in their protection areas, except for exterior finishing works, which do not modify the elements of facades and chromatic solutions.
