Sheriff Tiraspol beats Real Madrid

Sheriff Tiraspol managed to make a surprise in the groups of the UEFA Champions League. The team trained by Ukrainian coach Yuri Vernydub defeated Real Madrid 2-1 away, IPN reports.

Uzbek player Jasurbek Yaxshiboyev opened the score in the 25th minute with a head kick after a new perfect pass from Cristiano. Benzema tied in the 64th minute with a penalty, but Luxembourgian footballer Sebastien Thill scored a fabulous goal in the 89th with a kick from outside the box.

Sheriff scored two consecutive victories and is an authoritarian leader in the group that includes Inter and Shakhtar. Sheriff has six points, Real – three, while Inter and Shakhtar by one.
