Two men, over 60 years old, were found shot in a household in Ciobanovca commune of Anenii Noi district. One of them allegedly called the local social worker at night and told him that he had killed his friend and, by the time the police arrived, he presumably shot himself.
Sources in the Ciobanovca mayor’s office told IPN that the owner of the house, which he bought a few years ago, allegedly fired the shot. He resided in the locality and had a degree of disability. The other man was a friend of his, who came from the Transnistrian region.
It is not known what happened, but the owner of the house reportedly called the social worker close to midnight, telling him that he had killed his friend. A police team was called out and they found the two men dead. The owner allegedly shot himself with an illegally held gun.
Representatives of the police said they would make statements about the case later.
