A grenade launcher was found near Briceni town, close to the border area. The information was confirmed by representatives of the General Police Inspectorate, who noted that a number of versions are being considered as to how the launcher reached that place.
“It is a grenade launcher dating from 1991. The case is being examined. The police have a number of versions. We will provide details later,” the head of the Inspectorate’s Communication and Protocol Division Diana Fetco has told IPN.
