Meteorologists have issued a yellow warning for strong winds today, applicable in the north and center of the country. The warning is valid between 14:00 and 18:00, reports IPN.
The State Hydrometeorological Service announces intensifications of the northwest wind with gusts up to 15-18 m/s.
Authorities recommend caution, especially in open areas, near trees or makeshift buildings, and avoiding outdoor activities during the yellow code period.
Although no precipitation is forecasted, the wind could cause discomfort, and the day’s high will reach 28 degrees in Chisinau, according to meteorologists. In the following days, temperatures will remain high and will fluctuate between 28 and 30 degrees.
