The gasoline with an octane rating of 95 crosses the threshold of 30 lei for a liter. According to the National Agency for Energy Regulation, over the weekend and on Monday, the maximum retail price at the pump will increase by 7 bani, reaching 30.01 lei, reports IPN.
At the same time, standard diesel will slightly decrease in price. Thus, a liter will cost at most 30.90 lei, down by 7 bani.
ANRE sets the maximum retail prices for COR 95 gasoline and standard diesel, taking into account the international Platts quotations and the exchange rate of the leu against the dollar over the last 14 days, as well as the commercial margin, excise duties, and VAT.
