A woman from Tiraspol was rushed to the hospital with serious burns after she tried to dry her hair up over the gas stove. Her husband tried to help her and put out her burning clothes, but the woman suffered burns on over half of the body, IPN reports.
According to the local authorities, the 70-year-old woman washed her hair and decided to dry it up over the gas stove. But the hair and then her clothes caught fire.
Her husband put a blanket over her and extinguished the fire, but the woman suffered burns on 65% of the body. Doctors assessed her condition as critical. Her husband also suffered hand burns, but not so serious.
