International draughts master Ion Dosca became draughts champion of the Republic of Moldova for the 19th time. For the second time in the history of competitions, Ion Dosca won the championship with full score, which is he won all the games without any defeat and any draw.
Multiple world champion among women Elena Scovitsina ranked second, while sport master Nicolae Guba finished third.
Contacted by IPN for a comment, Ion Dosca said the completion was remarkable for him namely because for the second time in history he finished the competition with 14 points out of 14.
Ion Dosca holds most of the titles among Moldovan draughts players. He won the URSS Cup in 1980 and 1990, the URSS championship (Russian version) in 1991, is a laureate of World Championships (international version), world champion in 1999 (universal), and US champion in 2000 (pool-checkers).
