Wrestlers Irina Rîngaci and Iulia Leorda have qualified for the final of the Oslo World Wrestling Championship, IPN reports.
Andrei Chiperi’s pupil Irina Rîngaci defeated Germany’s Eyleen Sewina, Sweden’s Malin Mattsson and Bulgaria’s Mimi Hristova. In the final of the 65 kg weight class, Irina plays against Japan’s Miwa Morikawa.
Iulia Leorda, 53 kg class, beat Assylzat Sagymbay of Kazakhstan, Samantha Leigh Stewarr of Canada and Khrystyna Bereza of Ukraine. In the final, Iulia meets Akari Fujinami of Japan.
The finals are held today, October 6.
