The National Accession Program, Moldova’s roadmap for joining the European Union, was proposed for public consultations. The first meeting in this regard took place on Thursday, and the document could be adopted at the end of spring at the latest, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gerasimov announced.
“In order to ensure a transparent and inclusive accession process, the program is discussed with civil society, experts in economics, from the economic sector and the private sector,” noted the official.
According to Cristina Gerasimov, the document enables to rigorously plan the actions that are to be taken by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova in the European integration process. The program includes concrete measures, terms and the institutions responsible for implementation, IPN reports.
