The National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER) suggested a lower heat charge than the one requested by JSC Termoelectrica. A draft decision published for public consultations indicates a charge of 1,824 lei/Gcal, as opposed to 1,997 lei/Gcal stipulated in the supplier’s request.
Contacted by IPN for a comment, Galina Sanduța, head of the NAER Communication Service, said that the draft decision was proposed for public consultations. When this stage is over, the date of the meeting at which Termoelectrica’s request will be examined will be posted on the institution’s website.
The last adjustment of heat charges in Chisinau municipality took place on March 19. The current heat charge is 2,138 lei/Gcal (excluding VAT).
