As many as 4,427 places were occupied at the educational institutions managed by the municipality of Chisinau during the first stage of enrollment of students in the tenth grade, the 2024-2025 school year. Another 819 places remained free and are to be filled at the second stage of admission. The information was presented by the deputy head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports Andrei Pavaloi.
“Of the 5,246 planned places, 4,427 were occupied. Thus, 819 places remained free for the second stage, which will take place during August 1-4. The results will be presented until August 10,” Andrei Pavaloi stated during the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services.
The second phase will not cover 11 institutions, where the places were occupied at the first phase of admission (July 6-15).
According to the municipal admission plan, 219 classes were planned to be created this year in 97 high schools, including private ones.
