A girl aged 17 was struck by a train in Florești on Wednesday morning. She didn’t survive. When she was crossing the railway she was wearing earphones, IPN reports.
“The music, phone calls, exchange of messages fully capture our attention. When the pedestrians are busy listening to something, they cannot hear the sounds of road traffic or special warning signals used by motor vehicles,” noted the General Police Inspectorate.
The police were notified of this case by an employee of the Railways.
