The 36-year-old man who lost his life as a result of last night’s storm is film director Arcadie Spoială. Friends and acquaintances send condolence messages to the bereaved family in social media, IPN reports.
The director was resting with his family and friends on the bank of the Nistru, in Dubăsari district. When the rain with strong winds started, the parents took their children and began to gather their things. The man failed to get out of the tent, being hit by a large branch. His friends put him in the car and set off to meet the ambulance. Although he was already in the care of doctors, he could not be saved. The director died in the ambulance, on the way to the hospital.
This morning in the capital city, workers of the Green Spaces Association found a dead person under a downed tree. Later, the police determined that it was a 13-year-old girl. Other details weren’t made public.
