The Central Electoral Commission announces the start of printing the ballots that will be used in the overseas polling stations, for the parliamentary elections on September 28. The process will begin on Friday, at the “Central Typography” on Florilor Street, starting at 10:00 AM, reports IPN.
In the making of the ballot template, the printing of the ballots, as well as the subsequent destruction of the template, representatives of the electoral competitors, the media, and accredited observers can participate.
For the parliamentary elections on September 28, 301 polling stations will be opened abroad. The most, 75 in number, will be opened in Italy.
The Electoral Code stipulates that the ballots are dispatched to the electoral offices of the polling stations established abroad at least five days before the election date. Their number is determined based on estimates regarding the voters, made based on the information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and centralized by the Central Electoral Commission, without exceeding 5000 ballots for each electoral office.
