The live auditions for the national stage of Eurovision 2025 will take place on January 18. Performances by the 29 selected artists can be watched starting at 6:00 PM, live on public television, IPN reports.
The organizing committee of the national stage announced that on January 13, all applications submitted by performers were reviewed. As a result, 29 participants were selected to compete in the live auditions stage, according to the official website of the contest in Moldova.
Last year, the Republic of Moldova was represented by Natalia Barbu with the song “In The Middle”. The artist placed 13th in the European semifinal, thus failing to qualify for the final of the musical competition.
The 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place from May 13 to May 17. The semifinals will be held on May 13 and 15, and the winning country will be announced on May 17.
