Moldova will receive 241 million euros for social and educational reforms

The Republic of Moldova will benefit from 241 million euros in the next three years, funds allocated for the implementation of essential reforms in areas such as social protection, education, labor, and health. This amount is part of the Growth Plan for Moldova, aimed at modernizing and aligning the country with European Union standards. The subject was discussed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean and the Executive Vice President of the European Commission for Social Rights and Skills, Roxana Minzatu, according to IPN.

At the same time, in Chisinau, Roxana Minzatu met with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation with the European Union in areas important for improving the quality of people’s lives.

The state’s leader highlighted the importance of the support of the European Union for education modernization projects: expanding Moldova’s participation in the Erasmus+ education mobility program, including for students and teachers, developing a network of model schools, and strengthening vocational education, with a focus on renewable energy and digital education.
