The Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova (PCRM) will have its own candidates in this autumn’s local elections and will not compete in the elections in a bloc with the Party of Socialists, stated the Communist leader Vladimir Voronin.
“Discussions are being held in our local party organizations. The Socialists act similarly. I think we will separately field candidates for the local public administration. As a result, we will sit and discuss with them or probably with other parties who and where will run, if the results are good,” Vladimir Voronin stated in an online program. He leader noted that the relations inside the Bloc of Communists and Socialists are constructive.
In the snap parliamentary elections of July 2021, the Party of Communists competed in an electoral bloc with the Party of Socialists, IPN reports.
