Massive Russian attacks in Ukraine: tragic toll and destroyed infrastructure in several regions

At least three people have lost their lives, while another 12 were injured during the massive attacks launched by the Russian army last night in several regions of Ukraine, including Kiev, Odessa, Lviv and Sumy. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Russian forces have launched over 650 drones and more than 30 missiles, reports IPN.

In the Kiev region, a woman has died, three other people were injured, and several houses were damaged. In Khmelnytsky, a death was reported following bombings. The attacks caused power outages. In the Zhytomyr region, several civil infrastructure objects and houses were damaged. Local authorities reported that a four-year-old child died during the attack, and five people were injured.

The targets of Russian attacks in Ukraine have also included electricity, thermal energy, and water supply infrastructures in the Lvov, Rivne, Ternopil and Sumy regions. In the southern region of Odessa, the industrial, energy, port, transport and residential infrastructure was hit.

The Ukrainian Prime Minister, Iulia Sviridenko, has assured that all available resources have been mobilized to restore electricity connections as quickly as possible.
