A 5-year-old child was sexually harassed by a 69-year-old man in Codru town of Chisinau municipality.
Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Svetlana Scripnic said that this case happened two days ago, on Drumul Schinoasei St in Codru.
The suspect, a 69-year-old man, was taken to the police inspectorate for investigations. He was detained for 72 hours.
According to locals, it happened near some garages, where the child was with his father who was repairing a bicycle. At a certain point, the suspect managed to lure the boy. The father was the one who called the police.
A criminal case was started over sexual harassment against a minor. The 69-year-old man risks a jail term of three to seven years.
