The executive director of the Center “Partnership for Development” Alexei Buzu was presented as the new minister of labor and social protection by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița in the same news conference in which Marcel Spatari announced his decision to vacate this post, IPN reports. Natalia Gavrilița said Alexei Buzu is a specialist in public policy management and he offered support to a number of ministries in the process of designing, implementing and assessing sector public policies. “I assume this tenure for a more equal, more solidary and more inclusive Moldova. Within this tern, we will support the young families and will help mothers and fathers to easier combine work and family life. We will offer more efficient programs intended for the young people, persons with disabilities so as to help them find a decent and wanted job. We will try to reform the social protection system so as to substantially reduce poverty among children, to increase access to social services,” stated Alexei Buzu.
