The passenger of an ATV died after the vehicle overturned in the forest of Capriana, Straseni district.
Requested by IPN, the press officer of the Strășeni Police Inspectorate specified that the driver would have lost control of the steering wheel.
The woman, aged 35, died on the spot due to the injuries she sustained.
The ATV driver, a 41-year-old man, was detained for 72 hours.
The tragedy occurred on Saturday afternoon.
Law enforcement officials have initiated a criminal process to determine the circumstances of the accident.
