The President of Moldova Maia Sandu is paying a working visit to Tokyo during December 1-3. The official will meet with high-ranking officials of the Government of Japan and with representatives of the Japanese Parliament, IPN reports.
According to the presidential press service, Maia Sandu will also take part in the World Assembly for Women (WAW).
During December 5-7, the Moldovan official will be visiting Washington, where she will take part in the International Anticorruption Conference as part of the Summit for Democracy. The President will have bilateral meetings with officials and will also meet with representatives of the Moldovan diaspora in the United States.
