The national football team of Moldova was beaten 0-3 by the similar squad of the Czech Republic in the last match of the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament. After minute 55, Moldova played in numerical inferiority as Vladislav Baboglo was sent off too easily by Swiss referee Sandro Scharer, IPN reports.
Moldova manager Sergiu Kleshchenko used the following players: Railean, Ryabchuk, Posmac, Baboglo, Crăciun, Revenco (Cojocaru 46), Moțpan (Damașcan 46), Kaymakov (M.Plătica 59), Rață (Stînă 78), Postolachi, Nicolaescu (Cojocari 65).
The goals were scored by Doudera (min. 14), Chory (72) and Soucek (90). The Czech Republic joined Albania, which qualified from the first place. Moldova finished fourth in the group, with one point fewer than Poland, which it defeated in Chisinau and with which it drew in Warsaw.
