President Maia Sandu on Friday takes part in the opening of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, along with more than 100 leaders from around the world, IPN reports.
Moldova will be represented by 26 athletes, who hold 9 titles of world champion and 11 titles of European champion. They will contend in 10 sports events included in the program of the Summer Olympics.
The presidential administration said that the head of state will meet with the diaspora from Nice, the largest community of Moldovans in France after the one in Paris.
