The Prime Minister of Romania Marcel Ciolacu has arrived in Chisinau. The official was welcomed by Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean at the Government House. After the Guard of Honor sang the state anthems of Romania and the Republic of Moldova, the two officials greeted the military and went to the Government House for talks, IPN reports.
According to the program of the visit, after the bilateral meeting of the Prime Ministers, a broader meeting of the delegations of the Republic of Moldova and Romania will follow.
At 12:00 noon, Dorin Recean and his Romanian counterpart will make statements for the press. Subsequently, the two officials will participate in the handover of a new batch of school minibuses donated by Romania.
Marcel Ciolacu will have a meeting with President Maia Sandu, at 02:00 p.m., and with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, at 03:00 pm. At 05:00 p.m., Marcel Ciolacu will go to the Metropolitan Church of Bessarabia, where he will meet with Metropolitan Bishop Petru.
