The Central Election Commission (CEC) remained without a member. The resignation tendered by Sergiu Gurduza was accepted by the Parliament on Thursday, IPN reports.
The draft decision on the suspension of membership in the CEC is based on the resignation submitted by Sergiu Gurduza. In his application, he said that he resigned because he was in a position of incompatibility.
Sergiu Gurduza, who also formed part of the previous Central Election Commission, was named member of the new CEC in September 2021.
