A number of 64 polling stations for the Romania presidential election will be set up in the Republic of Moldova. Most of them will be established in the center of the country – 38. In the northern districts, there will be 18 polling stations, and in the southern ones – 8, IPN reports, with reference to the Embassy of Romania in Chisinau.
In the capital city, electors can vote at one of the 20 polling stations.

Romanian citizens who are in the Republic of Moldova have three days to exercise their right to vote, from Friday, May 2, to Sunday, May 4.
In the first two days, Friday and Saturday, the schedule of the polling stations abroad is the same for both rounds of voting: the polling stations will be open between 7:00 a.m. and 09:00 p.m., local time. On the third day of voting, i.e. on Sunday, polling stations abroad open at 7:00 a.m. local time, but close at 9:00 p.m., Romania time.
Voters are expected to go to the polls with one of the following documents: electronic identity card, provisional identity card, identity card, diplomatic passport, service passport, simple passport, temporary passport or military service card, in the case of students from military schools.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, through the Diplomatic Missions and Consular Offices of Romania abroad, organizes 965 polling stations outside the country for this year’s presidential election.
Most of the polling stations are established in Italy – 161, in Spain – 147 and in the UK – 108. The Romanians are also expected to vote in several dozen other polling stations opened abroad: in Germany – 88, in France (and in the Principality of Monaco) – 69, in the Republic of Moldova – 64, in the U.S. – 50, in Belgium – 29, in the Netherlands – 23 polling stations.
