Reputable persons will be able to sign one letter of recommendation for the National Award contest. The decision was taken in the first meeting of the Commission for conferring the National Award which is chaired by Minister of Culture Sergiu Prodan, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Ministry of Culture said the letters of recommendation must not exceed a page and must be filed concomitantly, exclusively in electronic format, to the email address: cancelaria@gov.md, until July 28, 3pm.
The Commission decided that the file will additionally include a review from the institution or the employer about the works/activities of the candidate, or from a specialized institution, another one than the one for which the persons works, or from a persons with experience in the field.
The scientific works or publications will be presented in electronic format by scanning the cover and pages No. 1 and 2, ensuring text readability. The candidate or group of candidates for the National Award must be author or ci-author of these.
The Government annually gives by up to ten National Awards at events dedicated to Independence Day. The National Award consists of a diploma, a medal and a sum of 100,000 lei.
