Three young people from Tocuz village of Căușeni district were arrested on suspicion of murder. They beat a man aged 32 to death and buried the body in a wood, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, the police in Căușeni were notified by the victim’s wife. She said that her husband left home about a month and a half ago and his whereabouts were unknown.
As a result of special investigative measures, the police established that in September, on a street in the village, the victim was kicked and punched by a group of persons. The man died on the spot. Later, the suspects buried the body in a wood nearby.
The men aged 24, 29 and 30 were identified and arrested. One of the suspects cooperated with the investigation bodies and showed the burial place.
The suspects face 15 to 20 years in jail or life.
