The price of a liter of diesel has crossed the threshold of 26 lei. According to the National Agency for Energy Regulation, in the next three days, the maximum retail price at the pump will be 26.02 lei for a liter, 26 bani more, reports IPN.
At the same time, over the weekend and on Monday, a liter of 95 octane gasoline will be sold for a maximum of 28.23 lei, an increase of 7 bani.
At present, the quotation for Brent oil has climbed to 76.19 dollars per barrel, while the barrel of WTI oil has reached 71.90 dollars. Prices on international exchanges remain volatile, in the context of the resumption of American military operations in Iran and following the suspension of the waiver granted by the US that allowed the resumption of Iranian oil exports.
