The National House of Social Insurance announced that it allocated the first amount, of 73 million lei, for paying pensions and some of the social benefits that were indexed by 15% as from April 1, 2023, IPN.
The indexation covered the part of the pension that does not exceed 11,700 lei. This way, as of April 1, the minimum old-age pension for a full contributory period is 2,620 lei, the pension for severe disability – 1,965 lei, for accentuated disability – 1,834 lei, for moderate disability – 1,310 lei.
The state social allowances for some of the categories of people were also recalculated. The National Social Insurance House indexes pensions and increases allowances automatically and the recipients do not need to file applications.
The persons who receive pensions and social benefits through Moldova’s Post Office on April 1 and 2 can collect the money from local post offices.
