A man aged 27 died when he crashed the car he was driving into a utility pole on Albișoara St in Chisinau on Monday morning. According to the police, the man was under the influence of alcohol and he had taken the vehicle without the owner’s consent, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate said the accident occurred close to 4am this morning. As a result of the impact, the driver died on the spot. The other two occupants of the car, aged 26 and 27, were rushed to the hospital with multiple traumas.
An investigation is underway to determine all the circumstances of the accident.
