The National Army will carry out the multinational exercise “Fire Shield – 2024” at military training areas between August 5 and 23. In the coming days, military vehicles will travel on national roads in connection with the exercise, the National Army has said, quoted by IPN.
The Ministry of Defense said the exercise will involve Moldovan, Romanian and American servicemen and will aim to “develop operational capabilities and increase the interoperability of the participating personnel.”
Military vehicles and artillery systems of the National Army will be used for the exercise.
The “Fire Shield” exercise is conducted according to the National Army’s training plan for 2024. It has been organized annually since 2015.
