Passengers departing from Bucharest airports will be able to carry in their hand luggage containers with liquids, aerosols, and gels of up to 2 liters, compared to the previous limit of 100 ml. The new rules apply from March 11 at “Henri Coanda” Airport and Baneasa Airport, reports IPN.
The General Director of the National Company of Bucharest Airports, Bogdan Mindrescu, announced that restrictions on the transportation of liquids in hand luggage have been lifted, thanks to the implementation of modern security control technologies.
According to this, the investments made allow the alignment of the capital’s airports to top international standards, while maintaining a high level of security at the same time.
“The objective remains to offer passengers the most comfortable experience possible, without compromising safety standards”, asserts Bogdan Mindrescu.
According to him, due to the new control systems, the process of checking luggage becomes faster and simpler for travelers.
