The second stage of enrollment of students at high schools in the capital city starts today, August 1. Secondary school graduatescan submit applications on escoala.chisinau.md until August 4. After the first stage of admission, 819 places remained unfilled, IPN reports.
Andrei Pavaloi, deputy head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports, said that at the end of the first stage of enrollment in the tenth grade, the 2024-2025 academic year, 4,427 places were occupied at the educational institutions managed by the municipality, out of the 5,246 available places.
The results of the second stage of admission will be presented by August 10.
The second stage will not include 11 institutions where the places were occupied at the first stage of admission (July 6-15).
According to the municipal admission plan, 219 classes were planned to be formed in 97 high schools (including private ones) this year.
