Students from six schools across the country did not attend lessons on Thursday due to sleet and ice. The classes will be made up either on Saturday or by extending the basic schedule.
Contacted by IPN, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Research specified that the six educational institutions are from the municipality of Chisinau, as well as from the districts of Edinet, Ialoveni and Telenesti. According to the MEC, school administrations are to establish by the end of the year the method of recovering the hours.
At the same time, the educational process was organized online in 219 schools, most of them in the city of Chisinau, and the rest in the districts of Calarasi and Straseni. Another eight institutions from the districts of Rascani, Sangerei and Soldanesti conducted their activities in a mixed format, with both physical and online presence.
Students from most schools in the country were present at classes today, and in some institutions, lessons began at 09:00 AM.
