The State Weather Service issued a yellow warning for a heatwave for August 6-8. Temperatures in most parts of the country will vary between +33°C and +35°C, IPN reports.
The alert for wildfires (fifth class) is maintained for the period between August 6 and August 12.
Until August 15, the low flow of water will persist in Moldova’s rivers. In the Nistru, the flow of water will be 35-50% of the average monthly multiannual values, except for some of the left branches, while in small rivers – of 30-45% of the average monthly multiannual values (yellow warning). In the Prut, on the section between Criva village and Costești town and on the section between Ungheni town and Brînza village, the water flow will be 15-30% of the average monthly multiannual values (orange warning).
