By 10:00 AM in the Nisporeni district, voter turnout in the presidential elections registered at 5.12%, which amounts to over 2600 voters. Men were more active in the early hours, with the ratio between men and women being 52.44% to 47.56%.
In terms of age, the majority of voters are between 56 and 65 years old, representing 28.20% of the total voters. They are followed by citizens aged 66 to 75, with a turnout of 24.76%, and voters aged 46 to 55, making up 16.69%. Voters aged 36 to 45 accounted for 13.62%, while those aged 26 to 35 represented 7.61% of the total voters so far.
The least active were young people aged 18 to 25, who voted at a rate of just 5.19%. They were followed by voters aged 76 and older, with a turnout of 4.46%.
Throughout today, electoral campaigning is strictly prohibited. Activities with any form of campaigning, as well as the appearance of candidates on TV or radio programs, are not allowed.
Polling stations will remain open until 9:00 PM, giving citizens the opportunity to exercise their right to vote until the end of the day.
