The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection was recently warned about a scam associated with the government program “Meter Assistance”, in which citizens, through messages received from scammers’ phone numbers, are urged to access phishing links in order to benefit from financial resources from the state, IPN reports.
“If you receive such messages – do not click on links and do not provide personal data. The Ministry urges the citizens to be vigilant about the information circulating online. We remind you that all the Government programs are officially announced on the Ministry’s website social.gov.md and on other government websites,” reads a press release.
