Young people from the Republic of Moldova who want a career in public service can apply until May 20 for one of the two paid internship programs launched by the Government, in partnership with the Delegation of the European Union, for students and graduates aged between 18 and 29, including those who have studied abroad, IPN reports.
Selected participants will be able to spend two to six months in institutions such as the State Chancellery, the Parliament, the President’s Office, ministries or other central administrative authorities. According to the authorities, the programs offer not only a first paid work experience, but also the possibility of subsequent employment in public positions.
Young people who complete their traineeship with a ‘very good’ grade can be offered a job in an executive civil service post without having to take a competition. They will also be automatically included in the reserve pool of civil servants for one year.
Registration is done online, on the official platforms www.cariere.gov.md and www.eu4moldova.eu.. In previous editions, more than 260 young people participated in internships in state institutions, and some of them were subsequently employed in the same structures.
