Two girls aged 14 and 15 were arrested on suspicion that they committed a murder with particular cruelty. This is not the first infraction committed by the minors. They had been involved in cases of beating in a number of districts of Chisinau and images of those scenes were posted on the Internet, IPN reports, quoting the General Police Inspectorate.
The police said the girls, being in the house yard of a boy in Ghermănești village of Telenești district, got into a quarrel with the owner of the house – a woman aged 67. The quarrel degenerated into a fight. The minors in turn stabbed the woman for multiple times in different parts of the body, covered her with a blanket and left her to die, throwing the knives into a well close to the victim’s house.
One of the minors has stayed at the Chisinau placement center for persons in situations of risk and every time left this without informing those in charge. In each case, the police intervened, asking specialists to work with the girl to correct her behavior, to examine her state of health and to prevent her from committing other offenses, said the General Police Inspectorate.
