Two bomb threats were reported last night at the “Eugen Doga” Chisinau International Airport, and all passengers and employees were preventively evacuated, reports IPN.
According to the Border Police, the first alert regarding a supposed mining was received at 12:31 AM, and the second one at 04:33 AM. The law enforcement and specialized services promptly intervened, applying the measures provided in such situations.
Following the checks carried out within the airport premises, no suspicious or explosive objects were detected.
The representatives of the responsible institutions specify that the airport’s activity is currently operating under normal conditions, without disruptions.
