Of the 1,809 voters registered for postal voting, 1,447 sent the envelope with the ballot paper for participation in the runoff presidential election, IPN reports.
The Central Election Commission said that the electoral bureaus of the three polling stations intended for postal voting, by October 31. 06:00 p.m. (local time of the host country), received the envelopes with ballots of voters from Canada, the United States of America, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, and Finland.
As many as 436 envelopes go to the electoral bureau of the polling station in Ottawa (Canada), 790 envelopes – to Washington (the U.S.) and 221 envelopes – to Stockholm (Sweden).
The polling bureaus of the polling stations for postal voting will count the votes on Sunday, after the closing of all the polling stations in the host country.
