The State Weather Service has issued a hydrological warning in connection with the rise in the level of water in the Nistru River, on the section between Naslavcea and Dubăsari, IPN reports.
The level of water on this sector has gone up following the augmentation of the volume of water discharged from the Dnestrovsk accumulation lake in Ukraine to 900 m3/s. Hydrologists estimate the level of water on the Naslavcea-Dubăsari section has grown by 0.8-1.6 meters from the level recorded on April 1.
In the given circumstances, the river can flood the lower riverine areas.
