Two prosecutors, one of whom holds an executive post, and a chief doctor from Nisporeni will be tried for complicity in planning an offense to obstruct justice. They tried to spare one of the concerned prosecutors from punishment for driving under the influence, IPN reports.
The Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office said the case involves a prosecutor of the Drochia District Prosecutor’s Office and another prosecutor of the Nisporeni Prosecutor’s Office. The medical worker is a section head of the Nisporeni District Hospital.
The prosecutor from Drochia is also accused of taking steps to prevent the establishment of his state of inebriation. He sought help from the deputy chief prosecutor of the Nisporeni Prosecutor’s Office and this, using his position, influenced one of the section heads of the Nisporeni District Hospital on duty to change the blood samples taken from the first with another sample.
