Parents who picked up their child’s birth certificate are urged to get a social card at any bank in order to benefit from all the allowances granted by the state, IPN reports.
According to the National House of Social Insurance, these are the one-time childbirth allowance, the monthly benefit for the care of children up to two years old, the monthly benefit for raising the child up to the age of three (according to options), the monthly support allowance for raising up to the age of three twin children or several children born at the same time.
Beneficiaries who chose to receive social benefits through the offices of the state-owned enterprise “Poșta Moldovei”, but did not collect the benefits for various reasons, are urged to go to post offices in any locality, regardless of the beneficiary’s domicile, to receive the uncollected amounts.
